Welcome to the website  of Rachel Poole Glass & Willow Artist.I am a professionally qualified teacher and artist living and working in Sheffield on the edge of the Peak District National Park.

I teach numerous glass disciplines both within a college environment and privately. I also teach willow sculpture and basketry privately and for numerous groups, schools and for Sheffield Museums. I travel all over the county teaching and hopefully sharing my enthusiasm for willow.

My glass work encompasses copper foiled, lead and kiln  formed glass and I produce work of both an aesthetic and functional 
nature.

My basketry is contemporary and structural and usually used in conjunction with/to compliment my floristry work.

I am a member of Pennine Artists, on the steering group for Open Studios Sheffield and I regularly exhibit at numerous craft/art exhibitions and in galleries throughout Yorkshire.

I am a member of the  Basket Makers Association, the Contemporary Glass Society and the Heritage Crafts Association.
